Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a Cybersecurity Technologist - Associate to identify, detect, protect, and respond to cyber threats affecting on‑premises and cloud environments. You will help manage security posture, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data, with opportunities for technical growth in cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Systems, Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum five years of experience with industrial cyber control systems with multiple external network connections.

Responsibilities

• Influence, implement and maintain security guidance / best practice, measures or controls to protect IT systems.
• Monitor, support, and investigate cyber security events and incidents.
• Support cyber and network security specific tools.
• Enforce security best practices.
• Advocate for and raise awareness of cyber security.
• Manage external network connections and implement firewall policies.
• Assist in instrumenting / deploying monitoring to applications / systems and develop visualizations for data interpretation.
