GM Financial is seeking a Cybersecurity Team Lead in Irving, TX to guide a cross-functional Tiger Team tackling high-priority security initiatives. You will drive remediation, governance, risk management, and strategic cybersecurity programs while reporting to executive leadership.
You will mentor engineers and security professionals, coordinate with Technology, Business stakeholders, and Compliance to deliver secure outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience leading cybersecurity programs and teams.
- Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional cybersecurity Tiger Team focused on high-priority initiatives and remediation.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance management to team members.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity, technology, and business stakeholders to deliver secure outcomes.
- Track initiative status, risks, dependencies, and decisions for leadership visibility.
- Drive continuous improvement of governance and operations in Cybersecurity.
