As an Engineer, you will be responsible for working closely with ITS&C leadership team and Architecture Director to develop and stabilize ITS&C’s data and security platforms, maturing the company’s delivery of, and access to, secured data environments, and working with IT and 3rd party vendor teams to deliver new attributes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain data architecture that adheres to industry security standards and best practices
  • Evaluate and assist with developing new, secure capabilities for data delivery/management between platforms, with a specific focus on developing Data Loss Prevention methods and protections for data in transit, at rest, and under transformation
  • Ensure the security and privacy of data by implementing robust data encryption and access controls across critical data platforms
  • Perform complex data analysis and triage, suggesting new network flows and architectures
  • Perform platform and service configuration changes to meet information security requirements
  • Design and analyze vendor services and data requirements, working independently and with key vendors
  • Identify improvement opportunities for enhanced network segmentation and protection strategies
  • Provide Tier III capabilities as needed to help support Operations and GRC teams
  • Support incident response and trouble resolution on complex issues
  • Assist in the development of key reporting and communication methods to the Director and client/venue IT personnel

  • Familiarity with a variety of data technologies. Deep experience with scripting and coding languages such as PowerShell, Python, KQL, PHP & SQL
  • Preference given to CISSP/CISM & related industry or technical certifications or willingness to pursue.

  • Demonstrated capability with developing IT communications to internal/external constituents and executive management teams.
  • Effective communicator with an ability to translate security analyses into understandable, actionable elements.
