Placements24 is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to protect the organization’s IT infrastructure in George. You will develop security strategies and ensure data integrity, working in a hybrid model with the IT team on-site and remotely.

Responsibilities include designing secure architectures, conducting vulnerability assessments and pen tests, managing SIEM/IDS/IPS and endpoint protection, and building incident response plans while staying current with threats and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in information security with focus on threat management and prevention.
• Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security and data protection principles.
• Proficiency with security assessment tools and techniques.
• Solid understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in the industry.
