Job summary

Interclypse in Maryland seeks a Senior IT Architect to spearhead Zero Trust Architecture initiatives across cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem environments. The role will champion DevSecOps, provide expert guidance on secure cloud adoption, and shape the security roadmap for a growing enterprise.

You will guide architecture decisions, mentor teams, and contribute to a long‑term cybersecurity strategy. This on‑site position supports a growth‑minded culture and collaborative work in Maryland.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• General Experience: 10+ years planning, designing, building, and implementing IT systems.
• Specialized Experience: 7+ years in design/implementation of enterprise cybersecurity architectures with NIST and cloud security.

Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. All positions are required to be on‑site at various locations in Maryland.

Position Summary

Acts as the chief architect for major IT implementation efforts, leading the development of a Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) roadmap for cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. Champions DevSecOps best practices and provides expert guidance on secure cloud adoption and architecture.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

General Experience: At least ten (10) years of experience planning, designing, building, and implementing IT systems.

Specialized Experience: At least seven (7) years of experience in the direct design and implementation of enterprise-level cybersecurity architectures, with deep expertise in NIST frameworks and cloud security. NOTE: The Senior role can also serve as a lead.
