Job summary

Interclypse, Inc. is seeking a senior cybersecurity leader to guide the implementation and optimization of security solutions across critical Maryland state projects. You will mentor engineers and serve as a subject matter expert in security architecture and incident response.

The role emphasizes operationalizing Zero Trust and integrating AI and automation to enhance threat detection and response capabilities. On-site work across Maryland locations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• At least eight years of experience in systems or network engineering.
• Experience supervising systems engineers and managing security engineering projects (5+ years).
• Proven expertise with enterprise-scale security solutions and leading technical response during major cybersecurity incidents.

• Provide technical leadership for implementation and ongoing optimization of cybersecurity solutions and services.
• Lead complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and act as SME for security engineering and architecture services.

Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. All positions are required to be on-site at various locations in Maryland.

Position Summary

Provides technical leadership for the implementation and continuous optimization of cybersecurity solutions and services. Requirements

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline. A Master’s degree is preferred.

General Experience: At least eight (8) years of experience in systems or network engineering.

Specialized Experience

• At least five (5) years of experience in the supervision of system engineers and management of security engineering projects.
• Must have demonstrated expertise with enterprise-scale security solutions and experience leading the technical response during major cybersecurity incidents.
