Interclypse, Inc. is seeking a skilled IT systems designer in Maryland. The role focuses on designing information systems, including application architecture, database interfaces, and security controls to meet user requirements.

You will translate requirements into robust system designs and implement repeatable processes while ensuring compliance and security across enterprise projects. On-site work in Maryland is required, with a culture that emphasizes growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline is preferred.
• General Experience: At least seven (7) years of experience planning, designing, building, and implementing IT systems.
• Specialized Experience: At least four (4) years designing and implementing cybersecurity architectures for enterprise projects.

Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. All positions are required to be on-site at various locations in Maryland.

Position Summary:

Performs design of information systems, including the application architecture, database, and interfaces. Gathers and analyzes user requirements and translates them into system designs. Develops and helps execute system designs, ensuring implementation of repeatable processes and compliance with established methodologies. Evaluates system problems of workflow, organization, and planning and develops appropriate corrective action.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is preferred.

General Experience: At least seven (7) years of experience planning, designing, building, and implementing IT systems.

Specialized Experience: At least four (4) years of experience analyzing user requirements and translating them into system designs using various design tools and techniques. Must have experience in the direct design and implementation of cybersecurity architectures for enterprise projects.
