Job summary

Interclypse, Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Architect to design information systems, including application architecture and secure database interfaces at on-site Maryland locations.

You will translate user requirements into secure system designs, ensuring compliance with established methodologies and integrated security checks. The role requires 7+ years in IT systems design, plus 4+ years in cybersecurity architecture for enterprise projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS, cybersecurity, engineering or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience planning, designing, building and implementing IT systems.
• At least 4 years of experience designing and implementing cybersecurity architectures for enterprise projects.

Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. All positions are required to be on-site at various locations in Maryland.

Position Summary:

Performs the design of information systems, including application architecture and database interfaces. Gathers and translates user requirements into secure system designs, ensuring compliance with established methodologies and the integration of automated security checks.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

General Experience: At least seven (7) years of experience planning, designing, building, and implementing IT systems.

Specialized Experience: At least four (4) years of experience in the direct design and implementation of cybersecurity architectures for enterprise projects.
