Job summary

Blackpoint Cyber is seeking a Social Media & Community Lead to grow our voice across LinkedIn, X, Reddit, and YouTube, owning the social strategy and daily content calendar for our audience of MSPs, IT pros, and partners.

You’ll write copy, create short-form video content, and build a consistent tone. Collaborating with the People team and partner marketing, you’ll use AI tools to ideate, draft, and optimize workflows, with travel up to 25% for industry events.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years managing social media as your primary role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write short, clever, on-brand copy under deadline.
• Experience building social media programs using best practices and modern tools.
• Strong organizational skills - content calendar, asset library, and multiple campaigns.
• Working knowledge of social SEO fundamentals and copywriting best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow Blackpoint Cyber’s social channels (LinkedIn, X, Reddit, and YouTube), posting a minimum of 5x per week.
• Craft, schedule, and publish original content - including short-form video and creative images - maintaining tone across channels.
• Plan content calendar with senior teams to align around events and campaigns.
• Conduct regular social listening to track brand, product, and competitor activity; engage on LinkedIn.
• Build and moderate Blackpoint’s Reddit community with partner marketing.
• Manage internal stakeholder requests for social content and coordinate with creative as needed.
• Track, analyze, and report social performance monthly, quarterly, and yearly with clear recommendations.
• Manage social crisis communications and response strategy as needed.
• Stay current on platform trends and apply AI tools for ideation, drafting, and workflow efficiency.
• Advise internal teams and partners on social presence and profile-building best practices.
