Job summary

Volvo Group Digital Technology & Operations seeks a CSOC Shift Lead to supervise security monitoring and incident response across 24/7 operations. You will guide analysts through detections, containment, and recovery, while improving detection content and playbooks. This role partners with SOC leadership and external teams to strengthen defenses.

You will work a hybrid schedule, combining remote and onsite duties, and engage in ongoing professional development within Volvo Group University.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of experience in cybersecurity incident response or security operations.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience leading a team in an SOC.
• Strong skills in analyzing logs and security telemetry to identify threats.
• Solid knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and OSI model.
• Experience with incident classification, response lifecycles and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Cyber Defense Center during assigned shift and act as escalation point for monitoring and incident response.
• Guide analysts through detection, triage, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Design and improve cybersecurity capabilities, tune monitoring rules and content.
• Ensure playbooks and processes align with Cyber Defense Center standards and collaborate with internal and external teams.
