Qualifications

• 5+ years in SOC operations, including at least 2 years in a team lead or senior analyst role.
• Strong communication skills and ability to document investigations audit-ready.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related discipline, or equivalent experience and certifications.
• Experience leading workflow improvements and cross-team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage, coach, and develop SOC analysts, guiding performance and career growth.
• Own shift scheduling, coverage, escalation protocols, and investigation quality.
• Oversee day-to-day SOC execution, queue health, and documentation quality.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement improvements across tools and processes.
• Define detection priorities from threat intel and tune SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and log analytics.
• Govern incident identification, escalation, and documentation per incident management procedures.
• Coordinate with GRC, IAM, Infrastructure, Cloud, AppSec, and Vulnerability teams.
• Deliver audit-ready documentation and actionable remediation guidance.
