Job summary

Versar Global Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity professional for the SkillBridge Internship Program to support RMF, compliance, and security governance. The role emphasizes building RMF artifacts, policy development, and collaboration with engineering teams in a hybrid Newport News, VA environment.

The candidate should have RMF experience or certification exposure, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a team while maintaining security posture and cloud

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or 3–5+ years of relevant experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must possess at least a Secret clearance.
Authorized to work in the US by start date.

Responsibilities

Support and execute the RMF lifecycle.
Develop and maintain RMF artifacts (SSP, SAP, POA&M).
Assist in system authorization and ATO packages.
Develop, review, and update cybersecurity policies and standards.
Support audits, assessments, and compliance reporting.
Collaborate with engineering teams to enforce secure configurations.
