Job summary

Everfox is hiring a Software Engineer in Test II to advance quality across our cybersecurity product portfolio. You will design and execute manual and automated tests, plan integration tests, and maintain test documentation in a collaborative Agile environment.

The role is hybrid with on-site days 2–3 per week in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. A US government Secret clearance is a preferred requirement; relocation within 50 miles is common.

Qualifications

• University degree and 2-4 years of related experience.
• Experience with Linux/Unix-based operating systems.
• Good understanding of network protocols and network security.
• Test automation using Linux shell scripting, Python, and Pytest.

Responsibilities

• Create scripts in various programming languages to automate testing of Linux-based cybersecurity applications.
• Plan, create and execute integration tests across Everfox’s portfolio of products.
• Validate cybersecurity software products using systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards.
• Create, update, and execute software testing processes in an agile scrum environment.
