Everfox, located in Herndon, VA, seeks a Cyber Engineer II to enhance cyber products for government and commercial customers. You will develop and test new capabilities, build tools, and support cross-domain solutions in secure Linux environments, working closely with a team in a hybrid, on-site setting.

The role requires 3+ years of software engineering experience, strong Linux proficiency, and knowledge of Java, Python, Go, and C/C++/C#.

Qualifications

• BS Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Information Security or equivalent.
• Familiarity with software development in Linux environments using Java, Python, Go, C/C++/C#.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking & related protocols (HTTP, SSH, IPSEC, TLS/SSL).
• Experience with version control technologies such as Git.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Red Hat, Fedora or Ubuntu Linux OS familiarity.

Responsabilités

• Self-starter using Linux and scripting to support customer-driven requirements for secure data transfer.
• Engage with customers to provide advanced design, analysis and implementation of software.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and configure Everfox solutions for customer requirements.
• Support design and implementation of Cross Domain solutions including failover, co-op, and load balancing.
• Develop data inspection policies using programming languages.
• Provide on-site/remote training and troubleshooting for customers.
