Job summary

Genworth Financial, Inc. in Richmond, VA, is seeking a Cybersecurity Program Analyst to support governance and operational management of the cybersecurity program.

You will coordinate activities, maintain reporting, and contribute to initiatives while developing program management and governance experience. This entry-level to early-career role offers a hybrid schedule (remote and in-office Tue–Thu) with core business hours, and a path to grow in cybersecurity, compliance, and project management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 1-3 years in project coordination, program support, governance, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and practices.
  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Excel or Power BI.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cybersecurity program and portfolio management activities by tracking project milestones, maintaining schedules, monitoring risks and action items, and supporting the successful execution of cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity metrics, dashboards, and reporting that provide visibility into program performance, regulatory commitments, operational effectiveness, and strategic priorities.
  • Manage assigned operational processes within the cybersecurity program, including performing initial quality reviews of ServiceNow requests and ensuring required documentation and information are complete and accurate.
  • Support cybersecurity governance activities, including policy and standards management, audit and regulatory coordination, evidence collection, and tracking of commitments and remediation activities.
  • Research, analyze, and maintain information used to support cybersecurity risk management activities, including the development and maintenance of cyber travel risk ratings and related program documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and workflows that enhance program efficiency, consistency, and overall effectiveness.
