Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Cybersecurity Privileged Access Technical Analyst to support the PAM environment centered on CyberArk. You will onboard accounts, manage credentials, run reports, and troubleshoot issues to ensure secure privileged access across the organization.

Requires hands-on CyberArk experience, IAM cybersecurity background, and a Bachelor’s degree. Healthcare experience is preferred; a CISSP is a plus.

Summary

The Cybersecurity Privileged Access Technical Analyst reports to the Cybersecurity Privileged Access Manager and performs engineering and operations aspects of the Privileged Access Management environment, currently centered around CyberArk. Requires technical and hands‑on experience with CyberArk, specifically adding/removing users, onboarding/off‑boarding credentials, creating reports, and troubleshooting.

Accountabilities

• Serve as “Vault Admin” to onboard accounts into CyberArk as defined by Penn Medicine.
• Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
• Perform duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure full operability of the CyberArk application.
• Execute project tasks related to the PAM discipline at Penn Medicine.
• Champion and promote the adoption of CyberArk across all AD domains. Understand and gather business requirements, translate them to technical requirements, and design solutions to meet tactical and strategic approaches.
• Work with teams/partners to integrate CyberArk to expand use cases and features, driving increased value to business and risk reduction to the organization.
• Provide support to end users of the application.
• Perform duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization.

Minimum Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 4+ years of IT and Cybersecurity experience is required.
• 1+ years of IAM cybersecurity experience is required.
• 1+ years of hands‑on CyberArk experience is required.
• 2+ years of healthcare or related experience is preferred.
• Certified Information Systems Security Certification is preferred.
