Job description

Who we are looking for

We are seeking a highly driven Cybersecurity Portfolio Governance Delivery Manager to take full ownership of an enterprise-scale cybersecurity governance and risk management framework. This role requires a seasoned professional who can quickly ramp into a complex portfolio, operate with a strong sense of urgency, and lead the continuous governance, reporting, and risk oversight of multiple cybersecurity workstreams.

You will be responsible for maturing the governance model, driving alignment across delivery teams, ensuring timely risk and issue resolution, and enhancing transparency into progress against enterprise risk reduction goals. In this role, you will directly support risk remediation efforts, compliance alignment, and leadership decision-making across the broader cybersecurity portfolio.

This position demands deep expertise in cybersecurity, governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) principles, with the ability to connect operational delivery to enterprise risk outcomes.

What you will be responsible for

Governance Strategy & Oversight

  • Lead governance consistency, accountability, and alignment across multiple cybersecurity workstreams.
  • Proactively manage the full lifecycle of risks and issues, coordinating escalation paths and driving mitigation strategies.
  • Continuously mature governance processes, reporting frameworks, and program operating rhythms to enhance transparency and decision-making.

Executive Reporting & Communications

  • Own the development of leadership-facing governance materials, dashboards, and program updates.
  • Deliver clear, timely insights on milestone delivery, risk posture, resource health, and compliance status.
  • Standardize reporting and risk escalation protocols to align with regulatory expectations and internal audit frameworks.

Framework & Compliance Standards

  • Maintain and evolve governance artifacts such as charters, RACIs, decision frameworks, and escalation models.
  • Monitor adherence to PMO and cybersecurity compliance standards, ensuring audit-readiness and risk alignment.
  • Integrate governance workflows into enterprise tools such as Jira, Clarity, Power BI, and Archer.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to project managers, delivery leads, and risk owners on governance and risk management best practices.
  • Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and assurance reviews.
  • Coach and enable teams to adopt strong governance practices and proactive risk management behaviors.

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role

  • 5–10 years of experience in Technology, Cybersecurity PMO, Governance, or Portfolio Management roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly onboard into complex programs, operate with urgency, and drive execution across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity governance, risk management frameworks, and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001).
  • Proven ability to manage executive reporting, milestone tracking, risk escalation, and remediation oversight.
  • Proficiency with enterprise delivery and governance tools such as Jira, Clarity, Power BI, ServiceNow, or Archer.
  • Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build alignment across technical and business teams.
  • Experience operating in regulated environments such as financial services, critical infrastructure, or cybersecurity domains.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity or related technical discipline
