Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced cybersecurity policy professional to review, consolidate, and develop government-approved policy in alignment with security and operational requirements. The role supports programs with technical guidance, assesses IT policies, and communicates policy progress to senior leadership.

The candidate will ensure policies balance security and operations, provide ongoing support, and brief executives on updates, changes, and milestones.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of cybersecurity policy experience.
• Experience with DoD cybersecurity policy implementation.
• Ability to brief senior management on policy changes and progress.

Responsibilities

• Review and consolidate cybersecurity policy with government approvals.
• Develop cybersecurity policy in line with security and operations requirements.

Job description

Reviews, consolidates, and develops with government approval cybersecurity policy in accordance with requirements. Provides technical support and assistance to programs and assesses IT policies, standards, guidelines, or procedures to ensure a balance of security and operational requirements. Briefs senior management on cybersecurity policy changes, updates, and progress.

Minimum Requirements:

• Seven (7) years of relevant cybersecurity policy experience
• Experienced in the general tenets supporting the overall DOD implementation of its cybersecurity policies, procedures, and process.
• DOD TOP SECRET Clearance and be eligible for an IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier5 (T5).
• Any team member of CERT will maintain CSSP Analyst certification.
