Job summary

Interclypse in Maryland is seeking a day-to-day cybersecurity administrator to manage SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and network security controls on-site.

All positions are required to be on-site at various locations in Maryland.

Position Summary

Performs day-to-day administration, operation, and maintenance of identified cybersecurity platforms. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, managing security information and event management (SIEM), endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions, vulnerability management systems, and network security controls. Monitors system performance and capacity, ensures necessary backups are performed, and assists managers in complying with government data security requirements.

Required Qualifications

Education: An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related technical discipline is preferred. A bachelor’s degree equals one year of specialized and two (2) years of general experience.

General Experience: Three (3) years of experience in a computer-related field.

Specialized Experience: At least two (2) years of experience administering enterprise-level IT systems, with at least one (1) of those years focused on a security-specific platform (e.g., SIEM, EDR, enterprise firewalls).
