Job summary

Interclypse is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity platforms administrator to oversee the operation, maintenance, and reliability of critical security systems in Maryland. The role includes documenting procedures, patching cycles, and mentoring junior staff to ensure uptime and best practices.

You will collaborate with engineering to plan upgrades and implement enhancements while maintaining compliance and operational excellence across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Education: a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
• General Experience: 8+ years in at least two of system analysis, system programming, application programming, or equipment analysis.
• Specialized Experience: 5+ years as a systems software specialist administering enterprise hardware/software and security platforms (SIEM, EDR, CSPM).

All positions are required to be on-site at various locations in Maryland.

Position Summary

Leads the administration, operation, and maintenance of identified cybersecurity platforms, ensuring service availability and reliability. Develops and maintains service documentation, standard operating procedures, and patching schedules. Mentors junior administrators, oversees complex troubleshooting efforts, and works with engineering teams to plan and implement platform upgrades and enhancements.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related scientific or technical discipline is preferred.

General Experience: Eight (8) years of computer experience in at least two of the following disciplines: system analysis, system programming, application programming, and equipment analysis.

Specialized Experience

At least five (5) years of experience as a systems software specialist with duties relating to the evaluation and administration of enterprise-scale computer hardware and software. Must have deep technical expertise in administering multiple security platforms (e.g., SIEM, EDR, CSPM).
