Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. This exciting opportunity provides candidates with the ability to contribute to the long-term health and success of the state while continuing to learn and grow professionally within Interclypse's growth mindset culture.
All positions are required to be on-site at various locations in Maryland.
Position Summary: Performs day-to-day administration, operation, and maintenance of identified cybersecurity platforms. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, managing security information and event management (SIEM), endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions, vulnerability management systems, and network security controls. Monitors system performance and capacity, ensures necessary backups are performed, and assists managers in complying with government data security requirements.
Required Qualifications
Education: An associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related technical discipline is preferred. A bachelor's degree equals one year of specialized and two (2) years of general experience.
General Experience: Three (3) years of experience in a computer-related field.
Specialized Experience: At least two (2) years of experience administering enterprise-level IT systems, with at least one (1) of those years focused on a security-specific platform (e.g., SIEM, EDR, enterprise firewalls).
