Interclypse, Inc. in Maryland is seeking a cybersecurity professional to support enterprise security solutions. You will assist in implementing, maintaining, and monitoring defenses under senior engineers, and help respond to security alerts.

The role emphasizes configuring security tools, analyzing incidents, and maintaining documentation. A BS in a technical field plus 3+ years in software or systems admin with security exposure is preferred; on-site work across Maryland locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred.
• At least three years of experience as a software engineer or systems administrator.
• At least one year of experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDPS, or endpoint security.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of cybersecurity solutions across the enterprise.
• Configure and troubleshoot security tools under supervision of senior engineers.
• Respond to security alerts and perform initial analysis of potential incidents.

Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. Position Summary:

Assists in the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of cybersecurity solutions across the enterprise. Works under the direction of senior engineers to configure and troubleshoot security tools, respond to security alerts, and perform initial analysis of potential security incidents. Helps maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is preferred.

General Experience:

At least three (3) years of experience as a software engineer or systems administrator.

Specialized Experience:

At least one (1) year of experience working directly with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS), or endpoint security solutions.
