Job summary

Analogic is seeking a cybersecurity analyst to lead security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and cloud security initiatives. The role spans EDR, MFA, PAM, data security, and threat management, collaborating with MDR partners and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT with 3+ years in cybersecurity, a Security+ and additional certs, and a track record in SOC environments. This hybrid US-based position offers comprehensive benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of technical IT experience, including at least 3 years in cybersecurity operations, incident response, threat hunting, or security engineering.
• Experience in SOC, enterprise security team, or managed security environment.
• Security+ certification required (or ability to obtain within six months).
• CySA+, CISSP, GIAC, or other advanced cybersecurity certifications are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead Security Operations & Threat Management across security technologies and implementations.
• Drive incident response efforts, investigate incidents, perform threat analysis, and coordinate containment and recovery actions.
• Develop and refine incident response playbooks, run tabletop exercises, and support threat hunting activities.
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments across networks, servers, applications, and cloud; track remediation with owners.
• Support identity and access governance including reviews and provisioning.
• Promote security awareness and provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Collaborate with IT, compliance, and business teams to build secure, scalable solutions.
