Job summary

EnerSys is seeking an IT Specialist I in Warrensburg, IL to provide frontline technical support across manufacturing and office environments. You will diagnose issues, install and maintain computers, manage user access, and support onboarding and cybersecurity initiatives.

The role requires an Associate degree in IT or related field and at least one year of IT support experience. Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365, plus strong customer service and communication skills, are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• One year of IT support experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills.
• Bachelor degree in a related field (preferred).
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network connectivity, printers, and mobile devices.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, peripherals, and software.
• Administer user accounts and access permissions.
• Manage IT service tickets and documentation.
• Support onboarding and equipment provisioning.
• Assist with cybersecurity, patching, and endpoint management.
• Support basic networking and connectivity.
• Maintain technical documentation and training materials.
• Participate in IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
