Job summary

Allied Solutions in Carmel, IN is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Senior Analyst to lead security monitoring, investigations, and incident response within the SOC. You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze complex events, correlate data sources, and develop defensible findings.

The role requires 5-7 years in cybersecurity, a Bachelor's degree, strong communication, and expertise with SIEM/EDR. You will mentor analysts, help build playbooks, and lead proactive threat hunts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or a related discipline preferred
• 5-7 years of relevant cybersecurity experience in security operations, investigations, or related functions
• Ability to correlate information from multiple security technologies and data sources to develop defensible conclusions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and nontechnical audiences

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and perform advanced threat analysis.
• Lead detection rule development and tuning across SIEM/EDR.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting based on trends and adversary behaviors.
• Correlate data across SIEM, EDR, identity, network, cloud, and more.
• Respond to incidents; lead complex investigations from detection to closure.
• Prepare executive incident summaries and after-action reviews.
• Provide mentorship and develop SOC playbooks and procedures.
