Job summary

Ford Energy in Dearborn, MI, is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Manager to lead and modernize our global security monitoring and incident response capabilities. The role blends internal leadership with MSSP collaboration across Enterprise IT, product security, customer-facing platforms, and Manufacturing/OT environments.

You will drive detection quality, incident response, and threat hunting playbooks while reducing MTTD/MTTR.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, or Incident Response
• 3+ years in supervisory/lead role
• Hybrid & MSSP management experience
• Experience spanning Enterprise IT, Cloud, product/customer apps, and OT/ICS
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-82, IEC 62443 or similar
• Incident Commander experience in major breaches or outages
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field

Responsibilities

• Lead 24/7 security monitoring, incident triage, and response
• Manage hybrid team including internal staff and MSSP partners
• Oversee security monitoring for customer-facing applications and APIs
• Drive SIEM/SOAR optimization and automation to reduce MTTD/MTTR
• Coordinate with Manufacturing/OT engineers for real-time visibility
• Act as incident commander during complex cybersecurity incidents
• Develop security metrics and KPIs for executives
