Job summary

Everforth ECS seeks a Cybersecurity Operations Manager to lead two security teams in our Washington, DC office / remote setup. This senior role shapes defense strategy, metrics, and risk posture, partnering with executives to translate complex findings into actionable guidance.

Role spans endpoint management and threat intelligence, with emphasis on leadership, program management, and cross-functional collaboration in a mature security operations environment.

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of enterprise endpoint security across servers, workstations, and mobile devices.
• Experience with MDM and enterprise mobility security.
• Proficiency in vulnerability management, patch management, and CVSS/CWE.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
• Ability to develop, document, and execute repeatable operational metrics for endpoint security.
• Strong understanding of threat intelligence operations, platforms, and analytical frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with cyber adversary research, IOC processing, and TTP analysis.
• Familiarity with adversary emulation, penetration testing, purple teaming, and enterprise risk analysis.
• Experience supporting or leading cybersecurity exercise planning and executive communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead two security teams: Endpoint Management and Threat Intelligence.
• Define and track multi-month project plans with proactive risk management and clear stakeholder communication.
• Translate complex technical findings into clear organizational guidance for executives.
• Collaborate with leadership to define acceptable risk thresholds and measurable goals.
• Deliver actionable intelligence briefings to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
