Job summary

Timberland Partners is seeking a Cybersecurity Coordinator to join our Home Office Team in Bloomington, MN. You will maintain the security posture and provide hands-on technical and operational support for local and remote users.

Responsibilities include security administration, incident response, phishing simulations, email security, and AI-assisted workflow improvements. The role requires leadership, independent work, and a strong security mindset.

Qualifications

4+ years of direct IT or help desk experience supporting remote users.
Hands-on with EDR tools, anti-ransomware tech, phishing simulations and email security.
Associate degree in IT or cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in AD, Office 365, Google Workspace; knowledge of YARDI and housing regs beneficial.
Ability to adopt AI tools for workflow efficiency and operate with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

Cybersecurity and threat management across security apps and DMARC monitoring.
Incident response, policy configuration, and offline/rollback actions for ransomware threats.
EDR simulations, phishing campaigns, and security awareness training.
Team leadership, triage, remote/in-person end-user coaching.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure operational continuity across IT operations.
