Job summary

Augustine Consulting Inc. seeks a Cybersecurity Operations Lead to join the Government Programs team at Scott Air Force Base. You will develop and execute advanced cyber defense strategies to protect the ARTRANS program and corporate infrastructure while ensuring compliance with DoD standards.

You will design secure networks, perform threat analyses, and review events to maintain a robust security posture. This role requires US citizenship and a DoD clearance.

Qualifications

Must be able to provide proof of US citizenship for DoD security clearance.
Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Related fields include CS, Cyber Security, Data Science, IS Technology, or Software Engineering.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and five years of experience, or Master's Degree with no experience.
Demonstrated experience in operational Cyber Security accreditation and certification of embedded systems.
Understand DoD 8500.1/2, AR 25-2, and the DoD RMF.
Prepare IA approval documentation and understand systems engineering; Network Security Architect experience.
Familiar with National and DoD standards guiding cybersecurity policy, requirements, and certification.
Knowledge to perform security analyses and risk/vulnerability assessments.
Ability to coordinate certification and accreditation activity for a project team.
CISSP certification is required.

ACI is a Woman-Owned Small Business professional services provider of engineering and technical services to the United States Government. We seek an experienced Cybersecurity Operations Lead to serve as a part of the company’s Government Programs team by providing comprehensive IT service capability to support the U.S. Army Transportation Command's (ARTRANS) global C4ISR and distribution operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Cybersecurity Operations Lead will develop and implement advanced cyber defense solutions and changes for organizations, safeguard the program and corporate infrastructure from infiltrations of exfiltration, and will assure that the system is built to specification and is deployed successfully.

Design, maintain, and operate highly complex and high secure communications network environments.
Perform in-depth network security analysis, and conduct preliminary incident response, event analysis, and threat intelligence.
Review security events that could be a detriment to the organization’s overall security stance.

Required Qualifications

Because this role requires a DOD security clearance, all applicants must be able to provide proof of US citizenship.
Due to the sensitive nature of the work being performed, a candidate must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Related degree fields include Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Science, Information Systems Technology, and Software Engineering.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and five years of experience, or
Master's Degree in a related field and no experience.
Must possess demonstrated experience in operational Cyber Security accreditation and certification of embedded systems.
Must fully understand DoD 8500.1 and .2, AR 25-2, and the DoD Risk Management Framework.
Must be able to prepare recommended IA approval and supporting information documentation and understand systems engineering processes and possess Network Security Architect experience.
Must be familiar with the National and DoD standards guiding the development of cybersecurity policy, requirements, integration, engineering, and certification and accreditation.
Must have the knowledge to perform security, analyses and risk/vulnerability assessments.
Must possess the ability to coordinate certification and accreditation activity for a project team.
Must possess CISSP certification.
