Job summary

Augustine Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams on a U.S. Army Transport Command program.

This role focuses on overseeing program initiation through closure, resource management, and stakeholder communications at both military and civilian levels. Candidates should have substantial DoD program experience, a security clearance, and a background in IT services for government customers.

Qualifications

  • US Government security clearance is required and proof of citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field with 10 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of management and supervision of military hardware/software development.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in systems analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams and manage project portfolios from initiation to closure.
  • Communicate program performance to senior military and civilian leadership.
  • Oversee Transition-In through IOC and FOC, including incumbent overlap.
  • Prepare Monthly Status Reports covering milestones, issues, actions, and costs.
  • Coordinate planning and execution of all contract support activities.
  • Assess feasibility, costs, and adherence to work standards.
  • Provide resource planning and liaison with Government actions.

ACI is a Woman-Owned Small Business professional services provider of engineering and technical services to the United States Government. We seek an experienced Program Manager to serve as a part of the company’s Government Programs team by providing comprehensive IT service capability to support the U.S. Army Transportation Command's (ARTRANS) global C4ISR and distribution operations.

Duties And Responsibilities

As a Program Manager at ACI, you will lead cross-functional teams, manage project portfolios, and drive the successful execution of programs from initiation to closure. Your role involves aligning project activities with organizational goals, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring the effective utilization of resources.

  • Communicate program performance and status to senior military and civilian stakeholders, including O-6 and GS-15 level leaders.
  • Lead the Transition-In effort through Initial Operational Capability (IOC) and Full Operational Capability (FOC), including execution of the required incumbent overlap period.
  • Author and submit Monthly Status Reports (MSRs) covering project status, new projects and milestones, problems and corrective actions, personnel status, required Government actions, travel, accumulated ODC/Travel CLIN costs, customer satisfaction metrics, and open trouble tickets.
  • Organize, direct, and coordinate, planning and implementation of all contract support activities.
  • Formulate and review project feasibility studies, determine costs, and ensure conformance to work standards.
  • Interpret policies, purposes, and goals of the organization for subordinates.
  • Manage logistics support analysis for military systems.
  • Identify, acquire, and utilize company resources to achieve project technical objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Due to the sensitive nature of this work, a US Government security clearance is required, and all applicants must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
  • Must currently possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • Related degree fields include Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Science, Information Systems Technology, and Software Engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field and 10 years of relevant experience, or
  • Master's degree in a directly related field and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in management and supervision of substantive military hardware/software development.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders including executives, directors, managers, and employees.

  • Ability to mentor and guide employees on work tasks and organizational requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and complete multiple programs and projects.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through to completion on multiple tasks.
