NRECA is seeking a cybersecurity operations professional to support monitoring, detection, and response across critical applications and infrastructure. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement up to two days per week and requires a Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field, plus 3+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in defining, implementing, and maintaining security infrastructure and incident response.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred or required depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security tools, critical applications, and systems for suspicious activity and data breaches.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for security monitoring and incident response.
• Review and analyze security alerts from SIEM platforms and other sources to determine risk and response actions.
• Escalate and respond to security events per established procedures.
• Configure and tune monitoring tools (SIEM, EDR, cloud security) and collaborate with teams and vendors.
