Tacoma Community College is seeking a part-time instructor for the Cybersecurity & Networking Technology program. Courses may be taught on Tacoma or Gig Harbor campuses, hybrid online, or fully online via Canvas.

The position pays per credit hour, with pay ranges listed per credit and eligibility for healthcare and retirement benefits after qualifying quarters. Evening hours may be required and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Three years or more of experience providing technical support in a business environment.
• One or more IT industry certifications such as COMPTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, etc.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach courses within the Cyber security & Networking program that may include:
• Motivate students by providing a positive and supportive environment for growth.
• Develop and maintain program and course curriculum.
• Collaborate with program and department team members to expand learning opportunities.
