Job summary

Durham Technical Community College invites applications for an Instructor, Cybersecurity, Networking & Support in the Information Technologies Program. The instructor will teach credit and non-credit courses and work with the Assistant Dean to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate instruction.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in information technology or related field or three years IT work experience.
• One year of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach credit and non-credit Cybersecurity and Networking courses as assigned by staffing plans and course load guidelines.
• Provide advisement during early and general registration, maintaining office hours and advising new students as requested.
• Assist the Assistant Dean in planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating the program’s effectiveness objectives and accreditation-related tasks.
• Utilize instructional technology to deliver curricular content, including non-traditional formats through college-approved platforms.
• Maintain teaching load, records, and collaboration with colleagues and external IT-related businesses.
