General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking a Cybersecurity/Network Engineer to support architecture, design, implementation, and testing of software for US Navy submarines. The role focuses on building a secure, scalable, multi-site software development network and shipboard systems, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Five or more years of post-graduate engineering experience.
Must possess, or have the ability to obtain & maintain, a DoD Secret clearance with the potential for a DoD Top Secret.

Responsibilities

Architect secure network solutions and engineer security into software.
Configure and maintain multi-site software development network and shipboard systems.
Adjust configurations to resolve development roadblocks without compromising security, compliance, or schedules.
Prepare presentations and participate in NAVSEA design reviews.
Tactical application administration.
