Job summary

Connexions seeks a Cybersecurity Lead to steer a blended onshore/offshore security team for a global automotive OEM project in Atlanta. You will set security standards and oversee compliance across IT, cloud, and connected-vehicle environments.

Responsibilities include defining policies, implementing NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, Zero Trust, and DevSecOps, plus managing threat modeling, incidents, and security operations while engaging with stakeholders and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity with leadership experience.
• 4+ years leading distributed onshore/offshore teams.
• Automotive cybersecurity experience, ideally with connected-vehicle security.
• Hands-on knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155/R156, and TISAX.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, cloud security (Azure/AWS), and IAM tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead onshore and offshore cybersecurity teams across domains.
• Define and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Implement best-practice methodologies (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, Zero Trust, DevSecOps).
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE WP.29, and TISAX.
• Oversee threat/risk assessments, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and remediation.
• Guide security operations: SOC, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across vehicle, OT and enterprise systems.
• Report security posture, KPIs and risks to leadership.
