Job summary

Hyundai AutoEver America is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer within the SAE team to design, implement, and enhance security controls for cloud and enterprise environments. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience with 5+ years in cybersecurity or security engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud and enterprise environments.
• Partner with infrastructure, application, and security teams to develop secure architecture solutions.
• Assess security risks across cloud platforms, enterprise systems, applications, and supporting infrastructure.
• Evaluate vulnerability, threat, and penetration testing findings and recommend remediation strategies.
• Implement and optimize security technologies including EDR, antivirus, proxy, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and related solutions.
• Support cloud security initiatives by strengthening posture, configuration management, and threat protection.
• Develop and automate security processes, controls, and monitoring capabilities to improve risk visibility.
• Perform security analysis and post-remediation reviews to ensure risks are mitigated.
• Communicate security risks to stakeholders and propose cost-efficient solutions.
• Monitor evolving threats and security trends impacting Hyundai's technology environment.
• Assist with compliance and security control implementation aligned with frameworks and corporate requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to improve overall security posture.
