Blackpoint Cyber seeks a Technical Writer to own and rebuild our knowledge base, consolidating ~250 articles to a single standard and closing a major content gap. You’ll rewrite stale content, author new articles, and define information architecture for internal and external audiences.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and support teams, verify procedures against the live product, and guide AI-assisted drafting to ensure accuracy and consistency across documentation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional technical writing experience.
• Structured content overhaul: audit, IA, templates, and high-volume rewrites.
• Strong command of a documented style guide and topic-based, structured authoring.
• Ability to work with technical SMEs to produce procedural content.
• Experience writing for cybersecurity, IT operations, MSP/MSSP, or enterprise SaaS.
• Familiarity with knowledge base platforms and Markdown/Git workflows.
• Excellent written English and ability to maintain quality under volume.

Responsabilités

• Define and own the documentation style guide and templates; enforce standards across the knowledge base.
• Rewrite ~150 stale or empty articles grounded in internal docs and ticket data.
• Author ~100 new articles on troubleshooting, MSP management, billing workflows, and compliance guidance.
• Design persona-aligned information architecture for internal teams, customers, and partners.
• Structure content for machine retrieval: clear headings, atomic topics, metadata, tagging.
• Collaborate with SMEs to extract accurate technical detail from interviews and documents.
• Prioritize work using ticket data, search queries, and article performance; retire outdated content.
• Establish publishing workflow with owners, SLAs, version control, and freshness cadence.
• Coordinate with product release cadence to ship documentation with features.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of procedures used in live security incidents.
