The Dime Bank is seeking an Information Security professional to help enhance the bank's security program. You will implement security controls, monitor threats, and safeguard data across on‑premise and cloud environments.

Responsibilities include patching, SIEM oversight, email security management, and auditing access controls to prevent data leakage. Collaboration with vendors and peers is essential in a complex tech landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows desktop and server OS; familiar with network architectures (LAN/WAN), firewalls, VPNs, and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, CRI); relevant certs preferred (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISA, CEH) but not required.
• Experience and abilities in risk assessment, data privacy, and securing third‑party AI usage within enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Bank’s Information Security Program by developing, implementing, and maintaining security controls and processes to protect systems and data.
• Deploys and maintains security technologies (endpoints, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, encryption) and patches across servers and workstations.
• Reviews security alerts from SIEM, firewalls, and gateways; distinguishes real threats from false positives.
• Manages email security, DKIM/SPF/DMARC, and anti-phishing controls; oversees Microsoft 365 security posture.
• Audits AD and SharePoint permissions before enabling internal AI search tools; mitigates data leakage risk.
• Updates DLP policies to detect and block sensitive data and internal source code from external AI endpoints.
• Ensures data in transit and at rest are encrypted; secures networks and API pipelines to AI models.
• Performs vulnerability scans, analyzes logs, and participates in threat hunting and incident response.
