Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) seeks an IT Planning & Security Associate/Specialist to align IT initiatives with business goals, work with SRE, and strengthen security controls. You will contribute to incident response and develop data-driven dashboards.

Applicants should have strong data analytics, programming, and DevOps familiarity, with excellent communication and independence in project work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, AI/ML, or related fields.
• Programming experience with Python (preferred), Java, SQL, ELK.
• Some familiarity with dev-ops tools: Git, Github, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience creating data products and dashboards in Grafana or Prometheus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects with complex requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement IT strategies, plans, and initiatives.
• Work with IT SRE to design, build, and maintain resilient IT systems and services.
• Contribute to IT security policies, procedures, and controls for assets and data.
• Participate in IT incident response, including root cause analysis and remediation.
• Utilize UX development experience to enhance interfaces across IT systems.
• Continue learning and applying software development practices and technologies.
• Stay current with trends in IT planning, SRE, and security.
