Job summary

Teledyne Brown Engineering seeks an Associate Information System Security Officer to help prepare, develop, and maintain IS security plans for accreditation. You will assist with system compliance, audits, and the implementation of cybersecurity products across classified environments.

Responsibilities include mapping evidence to STIGs and DISA guidance within RMF, delivering end-user security training, and supporting incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 0-2 years of cybersecurity-focused IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of information security concepts, RMF, and DoD/DCSA requirements.
• Ability to translate security requirements into actionable controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee system compliance and auditing of information systems.
• Assist design, development, and maintenance of IS security plans for accreditation.
• Implement and sustain cybersecurity products (SIEM, vulnerability scanners, endpoint security).
• Review STIGs, DISA guidance, and customer requirements within RMF packages.
• Provide security training for end-users, DTAs, and system admins.
• Support investigations of IS security incidents and coordinate with agencies.
