Job summary

Siemens Asset Management Software (AMS) Cybersecurity internship for Summer 2027. Intern will support product and corporate security initiatives within a fast-growing software business, with remote work within the United States and an onsite first week in Raleigh, NC.

Ideal candidates are undergraduate students in Cyber Security or Computer Science with a foundational understanding of networking and a curiosity for security challenges.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate student enrolled in a degree program related to Cyber Security, Computer Science, or similar discipline.
• Foundational understanding of networking concepts and system vulnerabilities.
• Demonstrated curiosity and initiative in learning about security challenges and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support the Cyber Security team across product and corporate security initiatives.
• Experiment with AI powered tools that will help the Cyber Security team better respond to customer requests.
• Learn to identify and assess vulnerabilities in application code, collaborating with engineering teams to determine relevance.
• Assist with threat, configuration, and patch management in alignment with compliance standards and security frameworks.
• Participate in incident response and remediation activities.
• Contribute to security awareness and education efforts across the organization.
• Work with the Cyber Security team to advance roadmaps and initiatives using agile methods.
• Promote a positive security culture by educating and advising team members.
