WoodmenLife in Omaha is offering a Cybersecurity Intern – Summer 2027 for rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors pursuing related degrees. You’ll gain hands-on experience with security controls, audits, automation, and policy implementation while contributing to security initiatives and operations.

Qualifications

• Rising Sophomore–Senior pursuing a Cybersecurity/IS/CS-related degree.
• Must have a 3.0+ GPA.
• Ability to work 38.75 hours per week.
• Clear communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated team player with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to WoodmenLife by meeting with leadership and internship cohort.
• Assist with development, implementation, and monitoring of Information Security controls.
• Conduct security audits and document findings with recommended solutions.
• Research and develop for new information security techniques, aiming to automate repetitive tasks.
• Support the TPSP program by monitoring third-party security profiles and risk assessments.
