Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Strong academic performance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze network traffic, log data, and open-source information to assess threats and suggest countermeasures.
• Assist with intake, sorting, and passing on information for reported cyber events.
• Track, handle, and report security events and incidents per procedures.
• Review hardware and software risk assessments.
• Collaborate with security teams to provide solutions based on business needs.
• Protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of classified information.
• Assist in developing security awareness and education information for users and admins.
• Ensure information is obtained for timely incident handling and triage.
• Research measures to improve information security procedures and systems.
• Search for and analyze security technologies to reduce risks in information security.
