Job summary

HF Sinclair is seeking a Cybersecurity Intern for Summer 2027 in Dallas, TX to gain hands-on experience in Security Operations, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), and Project Management while helping ensure secure and resilient operations.

The role offers exposure to policy/document management, TPCRM activities, incident monitoring, phishing response support, and cross-functional collaboration with the enterprise cyber team. Currently enrolled undergrad in CS/IS/Cybersecurity welcome.

Qualifications

Pursuing an undergraduate degree in CS/IS/cybersecurity with no required prior experience.
Strong interest in cybersecurity and technology.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

Assist Cyber GRC policy and document management.
Support TPCRM vendor assessments and monitoring.
Document cyber maturity assessments and input to enterprise strategy.
Monitor SIEM alerts and assist initial incident response under guidance.
Assist phishing response by reviewing suspicious emails and documenting indicators.
Assist Cybersecurity Project Manager with collecting and reporting on project status.
Participate in special security projects as assigned.
