Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, Information Systems or related field.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and information security principles.
• Familiarity with Windows OS, networking fundamentals, and enterprise IT environments.
• Ability to follow security procedures and document technical information.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist cybersecurity personnel with monitoring and maintaining security posture of IT systems.
• Support vulnerability identification, tracking, remediation, and documentation.
• Review system security configurations and identify potential concerns.
• Assist with vulnerability scanning, patching, and RMF/ STIG compliance.
• Maintain cybersecurity documentation, reports, and system records.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity Analysts, Systems/Network Administrators, and Project Managers.
