Job summary

Lyric is seeking a Information Security Intern to support its Security team across cloud environments, corporate infrastructure, and endpoints. The 12-week internship targets students who have completed their third year in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related fields and aims to apply academic knowledge in a real-world AI-forward healthcare tech setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Must have completed the third year prior to start
• Academic coursework in information security or cybersecurity
• Foundational knowledge of networks, OS, apps, and IT concepts
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts like authentication, network security, vulnerability management, cloud security, data protection

Responsibilities

• Support Security team in monitoring security controls across cloud and endpoints
• Assist SIEM activities and log analysis
• Gain exposure to EDR technologies and endpoint security monitoring
• Assist IAM activities including SSO, MFA, RBAC
• Document findings and next steps for security alerts
