Job summary

Enlighten is seeking a Cyber Instructor to design, develop and deliver highly technical advanced training for defense operations. You will engage customers to define learning goals, create diverse training materials, and lead hands-on labs in a fast-paced, mission-oriented team.

The role requires an engaging teaching style, strong communication, and expertise in cyber operations and curriculum development, with travel up to 30% and hybrid on-site work with clients.

Qualifications

• Active Secret U.S. Government security clearance required.
• 6 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field; 4 years with Masters; or 10 years with High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience conducting technical training in classrooms or small groups.
• Experience in cyber operations and analysis.
• Experience in training curriculum development.
• Experience working with IDS, IPS, and SIEM tools.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% CONUS/OCONUS.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with 1–2 days per week in the local office.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and engage customers to define learning requirements and objectives for complex technical concepts and scenario-based training.
• Develop engaging training materials in formats including web-based training, videos, slides, instructor/participant guides, knowledge checks, labs, use cases and best practices.
• Conduct advanced training courses in cyber hunt, log analysis, intrusion investigation, software operations, and platform architecture.
• Revise course materials to maintain currency with development processes and publications.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subject matter experts and industry professionals to stay up-to-date with trends.
• Develop and maintain relationships with operational units to increase training efficacy and adoption.
• Collaborate with trainers and instructional designers to develop comprehensive programs.
• Provide mentorship to internal teams on technical skills and critical thinking.
• Stay current with emerging threats to provide timely training.
