Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Information Security Systems Engineer Intern for a 9/80 schedule in Melbourne, FL. The role focuses on supporting and maintaining the enterprise cybersecurity platform infrastructure to enable detection, investigation, and response to cyber threats.

The intern will assist with deployment, integration, automation, and ongoing maintenance of mission-critical cybersecurity systems, working with SOC and Incident Response teams to ensure reliable security

Qualifications

• To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support enterprise cybersecurity infrastructure for threat detection, monitoring, and response.
• Assist in deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of security technologies.
• Develop and maintain integrations between security platforms and logging systems.
• Support ingestion, normalization, and management of large volumes of security telemetry.
