The candidate will work with networks, systems, and security tools to support core infrastructure, while gaining hands-on experience in information assurance and cybersecurity best practices in a defense tech environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, IT/Computing with Network Focus or related field.
• Interest in information assurance and cybersecurity concepts and practices.
• Strong foundational understanding of network security concepts and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assess security infrastructure, network architecture and system design for protection of enterprise systems.
• Identify security risks, threats and vulnerabilities across networks, systems and applications.
• Support deployment of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus tools and software deployments.
• Develop policies and procedures for securing system infrastructure and applications.
• Assist in evaluating engineering initiatives and provide security policy guidance.
• Perform product evaluations and recommend security products/services for network security.
• Advise clients and stakeholders on information assurance standards and technologies.
