Job summary

Kentro is seeking experienced cybersecurity engineers with an active Top Secret clearance to join our mission-driven team in the United States. You will support enterprise security operations, drive risk reduction, and help ensure compliance in government or regulated environments.

As part of a collaborative and fast-paced team, you will implement and maintain security controls, contribute to RMF/NIST efforts, and partner with IT and development teams to secure cloud and on-premises systems.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance or higher is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity or security engineering roles, preferably in government or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity tools and controls across enterprise environments.
• Support security operations, incident response, threat detection, and remediation.
• Assist with RMF, NIST, STIG, ICD 503 compliance.
• Collaborate with admins, engineers, and leadership to improve security posture.
• Support cloud security in AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments.
